Everywhere I go, it seems like liquid lipsticks have been the craze lately. I recently picked up Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the color Lolita and apparently, this is the most sought after color- it’s always sold out. I can see why!

As all you ladies may know by now, I’m OBSESSED with facial masks. Sheet masks, clay, wash-offs, you name it.
I’ve been wanting to try the GLAMGLOW mask line for quite some time now, but I’ve always hesitated since they were $69 a pop. A couple a weeks ago, I was browsing around Sephora and I discovered their Thirstymud set at the same cost. Had to pick up, it was a no brainer!

The set came with a full size Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment (1.7 oz), Supermud Clearing Treatment (0.5 oz), Thirstycleanse Daily Hydrating Cleanser (1 oz), and a Dual-ended applicator brush.
Tinted lip balms are a MUST have in my purse. They are great alternatives to lipsticks especially when you want a splash of color without looking over done.
I find myself reaching for these almost all the time lately since the colors are so light and wearable.

It’s almost time for Chinese New Year, so I got my hair cut WAYY ahead of time so I don’t have to scramble at the last minute. There’s a Chinese superstition that says you can’t cut your hair once CNY begins, because it is equivalent to cutting away good fortune.
It’s almost better to not be aware of such superstitions, because once you do, how can you not wonder if it’s true or not? (Silly, I know haha)
So my awesome stylist Daniella turned my blond/caramel-ish ombre into a dark brown ash, with pops of purple/magenta peekaboos.
Cut about 2 inches off, for some reason I’ve been really digging the short hair lately.
Daniella and I were having some fun with the awesome birdcage prop she had.
Moving on, thought this would be a perfect time for a 50-random-facts-about-me tag!
Hey ladies, let’s talk about brows today, yes BROWS.
I had some pretty bushy eyebrows when I was younger and always wanted my brows to look thin. I would start plucking them everyday when I was high school (or whenever I saw a hair grow out) and I swear my brows have NEVER grown back the same again. It’s been more than 10 years and they still look thin and sparse. I wish I knew better then! 😦
So THANK GOD for brow pencils, powder, and all the wonderful beauty products out there. Here are two products from Anastasia that’s been working pretty well for me.
Hellooooo Lovelies~ Hope everyone’s week is off to a beautiful start. I’m super excited to share my impressions on TATCHA’s amazing Ritual Discovery Kit.
Quick 411 on TATCHA:
Tatcha was created by Victoria Tsai after she suffered from acute dermatitis, her goal was to find natural beauty ingredients that would be safe, gentle, yet effective on the skin. She traveled to Kyoto where she met a modern-day geisha who gave her tips/secrets to achieving beautiful skin.
First step is to cleanse the skin without stripping it of it’s natural oils, gently exfoliate daily, and moisturize.
As you guys already know I have oily combination skin with breakouts from time to time. It’s been quite the journey in finding effective products that works well with my skin type. After quite a bit of research and hearing awesome reviews from many Youtube beauty gurus on TATCHA products, I finally took the plunge.
The first thing I noticed upon receiving my package was their attention to detail. My USPS box came within two days of ordering and (unfortunately I’ve thrown this away without taking a photo 😦 ) had a beautifully printed TATCHA sticker along the opening. Every detail counts!
Hi Lovelies! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas, I can’t believe how fast time is moving, it’s almost 2016!
Time for another review! After hearing fabulous things about Guerlain’s Meteorites, I had to add this to my collection.
